Privacy Policy

The short version: Nomsters stores your data on your device. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. You can delete everything at any time.
What We Collect
Nomsters collects the following information to provide the app's core functionality:
- Food and nutrition data — meals you log, calorie goals, macro targets
- Health and fitness data — exercise entries, water intake, daily goals
- Personal information — age, height, weight, and fitness goals you provide during onboarding (used only to calculate calorie recommendations)
- Usage data — app interactions used to improve features (anonymised)
- Photos — if you use the AI food scanner, photos are sent to OpenAI's API for food recognition and immediately discarded after analysis
Where Your Data Lives
All your personal data — food logs, progress, companion state — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal health data.
The following third-party services may process data:
- OpenAI — food photos sent for AI scanning are processed by OpenAI's API. Images are not stored by OpenAI after analysis. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat — handles subscription management. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple — if you use Sign in with Apple, Apple handles your authentication. We receive only the information you choose to share.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide calorie tracking, goal setting, and companion progression features
- To calculate personalised nutrition recommendations
- To process AI food recognition when you use the camera scanner
- To manage your premium subscription
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is stored on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. You can also delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete All Data within the app.
To request deletion of any data processed by third-party services, please contact us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
Nomsters is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
